Skincare is easier than you think

Taking care of your skin doesn’t require all these expensive, fancy creams. All you need are the three big ones, sunscreen, retinoid, and moisturizer. Protect your skin with the SPF, keep it juicy and plump with moisturizer and teach your skin to act young again thanks to the vitamin A in retinoids.

 

Work out

This seems pretty obvious, I know, but it needs to be said. Older adults who exercise act younger and feel younger which ends up having a pretty big impact on their skin as well.

So hop on a bike, get in that yoga class or even walk around the block. Any type of exercise will greatly increase your chances of aging gracefully.

Don’t drown your face in makeup

When you’re looking in the mirror and you see something that you dislike, your first instinct might be to glob on a pile of makeup to hide it. However, if you see someone with caked on makeup you don’t think about how great they look, you tend to wonder what they are hiding.

Instead of using everything in your arsenal, try layering instead. Use products like blurring primer, liquid foundation, translucent powder and cream blush to stay looking hot and not like a monster.

 

Give your hands some love

Everyone is so worried about their face but their hands could be the least attractive part of their body. Your face could say model but your hands could say, plumber.

Hook up your plumber hands with the same products you put on your face. Retinoid cream and SPF moisturizer will transform your hands from not to hot.

Feel good about yourself

You are beautiful. Believing that you are beautiful pays off in a variety of ways you didn’t even realize. If you believe you are beautiful then others will believe you are beautiful too. Not only will this make you feel better about yourself, it might actually help you live longer.

 

You’re never too old to be trendy

Keeping up with fashion is always a good idea regardless of age. If you want to look good then dress well and have pride in what you wear.

This doesn’t mean you have to throw out your whole wardrobe, spice up an outfit with a hip necklace or even some bright socks. You would be surprised how little it takes to give a boring look a hot new feel.

 

Going gray is okay

A lot of people are terrified when their hair starts to lose its color but the right haircut can really make your gray hair pop. A confident gray look is always better than a bad dye job.
