While mushrooms aren’t actually a veggie, they are a fungus, which doesn’t sound all too appetizing. Mushrooms are great for your immune systems and heart health, so get more of them in your diet. Onions are just as beneficial as garlic and add similar amounts of flavor. If you want food that is packed with flavor, you have to add an onion. Red ones are great raw and sweet ones make the best onion rings.
