Some Carbs Are Good
There are bad carbs and there are good carbs. You don’t want to completely cut carbohydrates out of your diet because they can actually be very good for you. They are full of vitamins and nutrients that will greatly help your body be healthy. You need to eat your carbs in moderation and when you do eat carbs make sure they’re good carbs like fruit or whole grains or beans.
Eating Too Much Bad Fat
Some people think that since they’re not allowed to eat carbs they can eat whatever fatty food they find that does not have carbs in it. But you can’t just eat a bowl full of melted cheese for dinner and expect to lose weight. Even if you do lose weight, you will be putting a lot of stress on your heart which is never a good idea. Protein is obviously an important part of every single diet which you need to make sure you get enough of. But you don’t want to go nuts on the protein just because you’re not eating carbohydrates anymore. When you eat too much protein your body will just transform it into fat. If you’re putting on fat while you’re losing fat then there is absolutely no point to dieting whatsoever.
Eating Too Many Carbs
So you don’t want to cut carbs completely out of your diet but you do still want to eat them in moderation. Keep that in your mind when you pick what meals you want to eat each day. Try to make sure that carbohydrates make up less than half of your meal so that you can have plenty of room for proteins and healthy fats. If you don’t get enough protein then your body will have a much harder time recovering but if you watch what you eat and follow the diet diligently then you should be okay.
